The goal of this hour-long workshop is to provide each student with a working definition of improvisation and the applicable and relevant knowledge necessary to effectively play traditional music solos.
DAVE REYNOLDS is a composer, a performer, an educator, and a writer. Dave holds a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Classical Guitar from Shenandoah University, a Masters of Music Degree in Jazz and Commercial Guitar from Towson University, and a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from St. Mary’s College of MD. The mission of “The Dave Reynolds Project,” is to produce musical recordings and compositions, as well as teaching, mentoring, and contributing to community service projects that will positively affect people’s lives.
