Moore Family Variety Show
The Beaufort County Traditional Music Association is pleased to present a Variety Show featuring members of the Moore Family. Hosted by Bobby Moore, the BCTMA Third Thursday Showcase on June 15, plays from 7:00-9:00 PM.
Sydney Moore has been playing music since childhood. Music is a big part of her life as she follows the Moore Family tradition. She accompanies herself on guitar as she sings a wide variety of songs, both modern and traditional.Bobby Moore, Wayne Harrell and Wendy Moore Wallace draw from the gospel, bluegrass and country traditions to present a blend of traditional music. Bobby and Wayne play guitar and Wendy plays bass.
The second half of the show features members of the Moore Family Band composed of the Moore Family, who have performed together for many years. The backbone of the band is the 4 brothers, Sidney, David, Donnie, and Bobby, but other family members join in. They play a mixture of traditional bluegrass, gospel, and rock n roll songs. They are always an entertaining group of traditional musicians.
Admission to the Variety Show is free and donations are appreciated. This event is Family Friendly!
